After assassinating a gangster in Japan, he goes to meet a client in Germany, who drugs and transports him to India, where he is introduced to the Kali Cartel — a powerful criminal syndicate comprising members from India and its neighboring countries, aiming to infiltrate and control the Indian government. The cartel requests Kabir’s assistance, unaware that two years earlier Colonel Sunil Luthra had secretly tasked him with infiltrating the organization, creating the public perception that Kabir was a rogue agent and no longer affiliated with RAW.

Sage Kashyapa is engaged in evening prayers when one of his wives, Diti, approaches him for children. Kashyapa requests Diti to be patient as this is an inauspicious time for union, but she remains adamant, and Kashyapa relents. However, the next morning, Kashyapa reveals to Diti that since she approached him during an inauspicious hour, she shall give birth to two Daityas who shall provoke enmity with Vishnu and terrorize his devotees, and also foretells that the two Daityas will be slain by Vishnu when they reach the nadir of their sins, all to Diti’s dismay. Diti, as told by her husband, ends up giving birth to two demonic sons, Hiranyakashipu and Hiranyaksha, who are later on instructed in tamasic knowledge and mystical powers under the guidance of Shukracharya. As they grow in power, the brothers wage war on the universe.

Vaani awaits her marriage to her college boyfriend Mahesh at a court ceremony with her parents and younger brother. However, during the proceedings, she learns over a phone call that Mahesh has abandoned her for the daughter of a wealthy businessman, prioritizing his career over their relationship. Devastated, Vaani faints and subsequently withdraws into depression, isolating herself for months and abandoning her passion for writing.
1Chhaava

A messenger informs Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb of the death of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Although Aurangzeb acknowledges the loss of a formidable enemy, he announces a celebration. His courtiers are confident that the Maratha Confederacy will soon collapse. However, Shivaji’s son and successor, Sambhaji, quickly takes charge of continuing the resistance. He launches a sudden attack on Burhanpur, a key Mughal province. The city’s defenders are caught off guard by the Maratha army and are defeated in the assault. During the battle, Sambhaji steps on a trapdoor and falls into a chamber housing a lion. He bravely faces the animal and splits its jaw apart with his bare hands. Aurangzeb learns of the attack and realises that the Maratha resistance endures. He commences a huge military crusade to protect his authority.
